What Argus does
Argus continuously monitors human-animal interactions, with a primary focus on the raceway, a high-risk zone where welfare issues are most likely to occur. Using advanced video analytics, the system detects:
- Physical contact, including pushing and shoving
- Non-compliant actions, such as tail pulling or ear pulling
By analysing these interactions, Argus flags behaviour that deviates from welfare protocols automatically and in real time.
